There are many types of mudras for chakras - A mudrâ (Sanskrit, मुद्रा,) is a symbolic gesture, used in the iconography of Hindu and Buddhist art of the Indian subcontinent. They are gestures usually made with the hand or fingers. Along with âsanas, they are employed in the yoga meditation practice of Hinduism. There are many types of Mudra, for example:

The Abhaya (which means "No-fear") represents protection, peace, benevolence, and dispelling of fear. Shunya Mudra

Shunya Mudra The Shunya Mudra as shown in the above diagram can be used to help heal painful earache. In fact, this powerful mudra can help heal almost all diseases of the ear if used over time. On a metaphysical level, when we suffer from ear problems, it can be a sign that we have become 'blocked' in the way we no longer wish to hear or to listen to others. It can be a protection measure that we put in place to ensure that we don't hear something we don't want to hear.

The Dharmachakra Mudrâ represents the moment Buddha preached his first sermon after his Enlightenment. This Mudrâ position represents the turning of the wheel of the Dharma. Dharmacakra Mudrâ is when you join your hands together in front of the chest having the right palm forward and the left palm upward, sometimes facing the chest.
