Carctol - A cure for Cancer?

Carctol is based on a traditional Hindu treatment. It is a mixture of eight remedies and has been linked to curing people of their cancer. Complementary and cancer specialists have said that it would be irresponsible to promote it as a miracle cure, but some specialists have said they have witnessed amazing results through the use of Carctol, although were unable to say that the cure was as a direct result of using it. The remedy was devised by Dr Nandlal Tiwari from Rajasthan, who has been giving it to patients for 25 years. It is suggested it works by creating an alkaline environment in which acidic cancer cells cannot survive. It encourages the kidneys, liver and bowel to excrete.

It is based on traditional Hindu treatments. People taking it are also advised to take a non-acidic diet and drink large quantities of water - up to five litres a day. This theory that acidity in the body causes cancer is well known, and that cancers cannot thrive in an alkaline body.

Carctol can be taken by sufferers of any type of cancer except ascitic cancer.

It has also been beneficial to those wishing to prevent cancer, for the protection of smokers, for the treatment of those with whooping cough, difficulty in swallowing, appetite loss, menstrual disorders and liver damage due to alcohol.

A balanced diet should contain more alkali foods with the ideal ratio at about 75 per cent alkali to 25 per cent acid.

To test your body's pH, you need to get hold of some litmus paper - you should be able to get some from your chemist, and put it on your tongue before measuring the colour against the chart.

You should be aiming for a pH level of 7.5 (tested on saliva). This would show that your body has a good balance between alkali and acidity.

Many experts, especially in the field of holistic treatments, feel that cancer sufferers should be made aware of the success that this remedy is having in the treatment and regression of cancer. People have been seen to recover from cancer who were taking the remedy, including a woman who was told she had inoperable pancreatic cancer, whose tumour had gone after two years on the treatment.

It has been described as miraculous for this reason - that patients who had been told they had incurable and inoperable disease have in fact been cured by the treatment. The results are certainly piling up in favour of the herbal remedy. It could be a remedy that is really going to make a difference to cancer sufferers.

Many experts agree that there are no side effects to using Carctol, but that controlled scientific assessments should be carried out.

Cancer Research UK says that there are lots of claims made for lots of different products, when there isn't any evidence to substantiate the claims. Perhaps more research should be done then, after all surely any treatment that is having any amount of success with no side effects is worth looking at? When you think of the side effects of chemotherapy surely more should be done to promote the research into these less traumatic treatments.

However, there is some warning that one of the known ingredients in Carctol, rhubarb, had been linked with side effects including bone loss and muscle weakness, and could also interact with many conventional medications.
